The Association

 The M.M.I. (Italian Military Memories) association carries out research activities through texts, documents, maps, photographs, manuscripts, finds and more generally documentation related to the First and Second World War.

It also protects, promotes and enhances sites and artifacts of historical interest present on the Italian territory dating back to the two world conflicts, promoting research and territorial analysis activities assisted by metal detectors.

Where feasible, the association identifies, reports and possibly cleans up, areas of historical interest in a state of degradation, in order to be able to use them, through restoration, conservation, educational, tourist and cultural use.
